 R.M.Mears was originally formed by Clem Mears in 1995 after 20 years in the construction and waste industry of which the last 10 years were with the Partek Corporation working on Norba refuse vehicles, Multilift hooks and Hiab cranes. The company started out with one man and his van, growing later to a small workshop space shared with a local council, leading to the employment of another fitter and buying our first refuse vehicle to give support to our customers whilst their vehicle was being repaired. This very quickly became two vehicles, then three and so on and so on, thus we decided in 1999 to split the repair and hire businesses and Municipal Engineering 2000 Limited was formed, leaving RMM to carry on growing and satisfying local customer hire/leasing requirements. RMM is dedicated to supplying reliable, modern vehicles backed up by ME2000 Ltd and a highly skilled support team which, with customer recommendations, has assured continued growth of our hire fleet, and now leading to R.M.Mears incorporating on 1st September 2007. |
